Dedicated Ears Legal / Free Album/ep List

(I now post these albums on the cool Creative Commons site FrostClick first before posting here.) This blog is a natural off-shoot from my main music blog Dedicated Ears. I have been fascinated with the process of artists getting music to their public since I started downloading music in 2008. A late convert to the i-Tunes way of life, I made up ground quickly through my addiction to searching for legal free music (Creative Commons). I have over 600 albums/e.p.'s that I will eventually have on this list. I also add 10 to 12 a week. Music styles covered int this list : indie,folk, rock, post punk, progressive, lo-fi, DIY, alternative, tape music, psyche pop, shoe gaze, African, French, Brasilian, electronic pop, progressive, metal, electronic, ambient, chill wave, bluegrass, gypsy, etc.

Most of these artists would be happy getting a donation, so please contact them about that if there is no place on their page. If you come across something you like download it right away. It may not be there the next time you look for it. It may not be free next time you see it. The one thing all of these artists want is for people to hear their music. So please pass it these links along.
