Rock, indie from Chicago based Welcome To Ashley. Thanks to Welcome To Ashley for the download!
This has a bit of indie rock, pop and some progressive elements. These Chicago guys are great in concert. See them if you get the chance. Thanks to the band and Jamendo for the free download.
The Ornery Little Darlings are :
Emmi Chen - (Vox, Guitar, Percussion)
Jason Ewers - (Vox, Piano, Guitar)
Paul Puschautz - (Vox, Drums)
There's a nice balance on Ooh La La between the Lou Reed inspired styling of Jason Ewers and the powerful and commanding vocals on Emmi Chen. There are some nice choices in the production on "Logic of An Alcoholic" and "Build The Night" that add to the loose feel of the album. On these tracks the production switches into mono and that takes this album into a D-I-Y neighborhood. This album keeps you guessing to the last note. I love when that happens. You can download this for FREE or DONATE to the band at the link for their Bandcamp page. thanks for the download to the band!
