This short hushed album sounds like maybe they were recording this on the sly in a church.The harmonies and strings and acordian on the opener "Take Me Home" make for an interesting mix that works really well together. I enjoyed the claps and rising vocals on "The Hearts Won't Lie". The fade out and the build up toward the end is really nice. "The Silence On The River Of The Moon" is a slow moving catchy tune that reminds me, in a good way, of Band Of Horses early stuff. These songs as an EP are strong and leave me looking forward to other releases by a dark horse. Thanks to a dark horse for this delightful ep. Released 06 August 2012.
