St. Louis band Bo & the Locomotive Golden Arms EP features some rough around the edges/bedroom production that puts the emphasis on the lyrics and harmonies. The even mix of Bo's vocals, the guitar, and percussion is a nice touch. My favorite track ,"Can You Hang On" features some nice guitar work and staggered choruses. Really nice effect. Bo has a new LP On My Way that is only $5 on their bandcamp page. These guys will be playing Schubas tomorrow night. Get there early to catch Bo. The Loneliest Monk is on the bill as well.
