Experimental, post-rock, shoe-gaze from Philadelphia based Pilot Cloud. Thanks to Pilot Cloud for the download!

Dusthoney is from Philly and her music is electronic music which has been diagnosed with multiple personalities disorder. You've got ambient, noise rock, 8 bit, and somber pop. All of which work in a way that few people can make them work. This is one of 4 albums she put out this year, which makes choosing one to go on my year end list very difficult. Thanks to dusthoney for the great music.
From her artist page "gloom tunes for the preternaturally unhinged. possibly surprising grab-bag of weirdo electronix and pastoral hate-scapes. "be patient, ophelia. love, hamlet" -kurt vonnegut

Experimental electronic that sometimes is pop from Philly based dusthoney. "The Sun Killing" is a reserved beauty of a languid song.  She will have an album on my year end list, question is which one, for she has released 4 full length albums already in this calendar year, and the year's not done yet... Thanks to dusthoney for the download!

Electro indie pop sad songs from Philly based Dusthoney, a one woman band that has very little accessible info online. She just makes these great quirky albums that are very effective. She puts out a lot of albums and the sounds vary. Lipstick Chorale has some eerily beautiful moments on it. Thanks to Lipstick Chorale for the free download!

Beautiful indie folk, pop songs from Philadelphia based Folk Popkin Falsetti. Love the track "Lonestar". Thanks to Folk Popkin Falsetti for the free download!

Philadelphia band FAUX PAS plays lo fi garage pop that has some infectious hooks, as on their track "so this is it". Thanks to FAUX PAS for the free download!

Classical quartet from Philadelphia. Thanks to The Musical Chairs String Quartet for the cool free download!

I know is I will have one of  dusthoney's eclectic and beautiful pop music albums on my year end list. The only problem is which of her 4 albums released this year (thus far) do I choose. Early money is on Shotgun Bride. Her music seemingly has no boundaries, which is what music should do. Thanks to dusthoney for all this great left field pop music.

From her Jamendo page "semi-manic bizzaro pop album made in about a week. now with more vocals than ever before! this album was inspired by the internet. the week this album was made was spent watching countless paranoid schizophrenic conspiracy theorist videos on youtube, losing sleep by distracting myself with faraway internet friends, and developing a genuine affection for crazy broken people. this one's for you, guys. "alone with everybody" is a robotic interpretation of charles bukowski's poem of the same name."

"Unfold" is my favorite track on here. Big guitar kick and vocals that fit the music. Thanks to Voletta for the free download!
