St. Louis band Bo & the Locomotive Golden Arms EP features some rough around the edges/bedroom production that puts the emphasis on the lyrics and harmonies. The even mix of Bo's vocals, the guitar, and percussion is a nice touch. My favorite track ,"Can You Hang On" features some nice guitar work and staggered choruses. Really nice effect. Bo has a new LP On My Way that is only $5 on their bandcamp page. These guys will be playing Schubas tomorrow night. Get there early to catch Bo. The Loneliest Monk is on the bill as well. Thanks to Bo and the Locomotive for the free download!
