Big Science - Skyscraper Sound (FREE DL)(bandcamp.com) Released June 2010

 Chicago post punk band Big Science who plays infectious melodies and a soaring guitar, so Skyscraper Sound is an very apt title. On this release the guys play a bit of a more serious sounding music than they played on their debut The Coast of Nowhere. My favorite track is "Flags" which reminds me of early U2. Love the tempo shifts on their music. Dramatic stuff. I've seen these guys play a few times and they are really good live, so see them.Thanks to Big Science for this download!

The band has a new album called Difficulty, you'll want to check that out.

You can download two more tracks not available of the bandcamp download on A Little Nothing's Last FM page. Not a whole lot of info on this band. I believe it's one guy from Germany. I like the mix of the acoustic guitar with the current "Canadian Indie" sound as well as the new wave sound.  Thanks to the band for the free downloads.
