Learning Music Monthly - 1.3 Readers, Travel (learningmusicmonthly.com)

Learning Music Monthly - 1.3  Readers,Travel is still my favorite album of this series. John and his wife took a trip through the west and bought old vinyl albums at all sorts of places and sampled the songs into this album. Listen for the pinball sounds. I love the overall sound of this.  My favorite track is "About A Boat", really nice vocals.

John Wood is the driver of this bus but there are countless other musicians who have contributed to this great free monthly series. I did an interview with John on the main blog.  The short of it is he gets all of his friends together to make this music in monthly installments. All albums are free. There is a big swing in sound, and you are bound to enjoy at least a few of these albums no matter what you listen to. Thanks to John and the musicians for the great idea and great music!

Learning Music Monthly - 1.2  De December is a collaboration with Jason Golday. This album is folk music with ambient leanings at times. Really nice stuff. My favorite track is the title track which features some nice piano.

Leaning music Monthly -1.1 Whales This November is a monthly LP free release on Learning Music Monthly.com. This album has both some nice folk based songs and some interesting instrumental mixes with old vinyl drops as on "Learning Music Music Part 1". John Wood is the driver of this bus but there are countless other musicians who have contributed to this great free monthly series. Uniform Motion - Pictures (No Source)

Uniform Motion is Andrew Richards and Renaud Forestie make sweet and winsome indie pop music with the four string guitar and minor electronic flourishes. "Cast Iron" is my favorite track here. This is very effective minimal pop.



Check their bandcamp site out, along with the free download they also have cd's and videos for sale.
